Liposuction
body sculpting (or suction-assisted lipectomy) has become one of the most

narrow tube (cannula) is inserted into a small incision made in an

doctor then manipulates the cannula, which is connected to a strong
vacuum, removing unwanted fat and sculpting an improved contour.

been the addition of ultrasound or ultrasonic energy. This enables
Dr. Storch to break up or partially
"liquefy"
the fat tissue and cells before the suctioning of the area. This
then allows for use of smaller, thinner instruments and generally a more
controlled, even contouring with frequently less bruising, swelling
and discomfort.
