Dr. Storch began his plastic surgery practice in Miami in 1978. Since that time, he has developed a reputation as one of the truly outstanding Plastic Surgeons in the South Florida community.

Dr. Storch was born in Miami but then grew up in the New York City area in an academic medical environment. His dad was a prominent New York radiologist, professor and medical author and Dr. Storch came to realize very early on that he wanted to pursue his dream of helping others through a career in medicine.

Dr. Storch did his undergraduate studies at the prestigious Uptown University Campus of NYU. It was there he achieved academic honors and then, after completing only 3 years of his undergraduate studies, obtained early acceptance to Georgetown University Medical School in Washington, DC.

It was during his medical school years that for the first time, Dr. Storch was truly exposed to the field of plastic surgery. He saw the artistry, creativity and detail at the "heart" of the specialty. He came to realize that this field perfectly suited his own priorities, strengths, and abilities. It was here and then that Dr. Storch decided to pursue his career and to become a plastic surgeon.

After graduating from Georgetown University Medical School, Dr. Storch did a 1 year Surgical Internship at Beth Israel Hospital and Medical Center in New York City. This was followed by a 3 year General Surgical Residency at Mount Sinai Hospital and Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. During these years, Dr. Storch had the invaluable opportunity to work with and serve on the plastic surgery service at Jackson Memorial Hospital under the direction of one of the true pioneers and authorities in the field of plastic surgery, Dr. Ralph Millard. Dr. Storch then worked with, observed, and learned from Dr. Millard, as well as many other prominent, highly gifted and skilled plastic surgeons in Miami at the time.

Dr. Storch was then accepted to a 3 year Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Residency at Albert Einstein College Hospital in New York. While in New York, he again had the opportunity to work with and learn from some of the finest plastic surgeons in the country. Again, during these residency years, Dr. Storch achieved honors and was recognized with honorarium award at the New York Plastic Surgery Chief Residence Conference in 1976.

Dr. Storch remained in the New York area for 2 years after completing his residency. He remained in solo practice while preparing to take his Plastic Surgery Board exams. Dr. Storch was then certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery in 1978, becoming one of the youngest plastic surgeons to have achieved that certification at that time.

In 1978, Dr. Storch returned to his "roots" in Miami. He opened a solo practice for plastic surgery on Miami Beach and, after several years, moved to his current Aventura, North Miami address on the grounds of the Aventura Hospital and Medical Center.

Over the past 30+ years, Dr. Storch has established himself as one of the nationally recognized outstanding plastic surgeons in the South Florida community. He is known as one of the foremost plastic surgeons for nasal, neck, facial, and breast plastic surgical procedures. Dr. Storch is a Past President of the Greater Miami Society of Plastic Surgeons and is a Board-Certified Diplomat of the American College of Surgeons. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS). He is also a prominent member of the very exclusive and prestigious Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS.)

In addition to numerous other local and national medical associations and honors, Dr. Storch has been listed in the Connolly Directory of "Best Doctors" in Florida," and in the "Best Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons" National Guide published by Media Perspectives. Dr. Storch has also been recognized by the Miami Metro Magazine and listed by South Florida Magazine as amongst Florida's "Top Docs."

Dr. Storch is on staff at the Aventura Hospital and Medical Center and performs his surgery at both the hospital and in his fully-accredited AAAA-certified office operatory facilities located on the grounds of the hospital and medical center.

When not involved with his practice and patients, Dr. Storch enjoys spending his time outdoors with boating, jogging, skiing and, most of all, spending time with his family. Dr. Storch met his wife, Joan, in high school, and they have been married since 1968. They have 2 daughters, Courtney and Melissa, son-in-laws, Todd and Jeff, and 3 amazing grandchildren, Haley B., Bradley and Savanna.
